Product Introduction
The formal name for blind flanges is flange cover, and some are also called blind flanges or pipe plugs. It is a flange without a hole in the middle, used to seal pipeline openings. The function of the blind plate seal is the same as that of the head and pipe cap, except that the blind plate seal is a detachable sealing device, and the seal of the head is not intended to be opened again. There are various forms of sealing surfaces, including flat, convex, concave convex, mortise and tenon surfaces, and ring connection surfaces. The materials include carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, copper, aluminum, PVC, and PPR.


From the appearance, blind plates are generally divided into flat plate blind plates, 8-shaped blind plates, insert plates, and gasket rings (insert plates and gasket rings are blind to each other). Blind plates serve the same function as heads, pipe caps, and welding plugs in terms of isolation and cutting. Due to its good sealing performance, it is generally used as a reliable isolation method for systems that require complete isolation. A flat blind plate is a solid circle with a handle, used for systems that are typically in an isolated state.
