Stainless steel flange forging equipment and application characteristics

The mechanical properties of forgings are of higher quality than those produced on hammers; High productivity; Less metal loss; The forging die on the hammer is composed of two parts: the upper and lower molds. The horizontal machine is composed of three parts: the punch and the punch pad composed of two halves. Therefore, it is possible to forge forgings that cannot be manufactured by forging on the hammer; Accurate size and smooth surface.
Key design points for forging on horizontal press: The forging should not have any concave parts that hinder the separation of the forging die after upsetting; There should be a slope; There should be rounded corners; To avoid the narrow neck of forgings in the longitudinal section, which hinders metal flow; To avoid having a concave part in the middle and a conical shape at the tail; For shaft components with flanges, when the length is 10-12 times the diameter, the flange cannot exceed the volume of the shaft; The wall thickness of perforated forgings shall not be less than 0.15 times the diameter.
